Autumn is here and so is an exciting new season of styling! Time to upgrade the wardrobe with some gorgeous new designs, and rework old pieces into our fresh and trendsetting looks. Wondering what trends you should be wearing this autumn? Don’t worry, we got you. Below, we round up some of the most shoppable trends of 2021:

Flared Jeans

One of the key silhouettes coming back in style is the flared jean, and we are ALL for it. Characterised by a leg shape that flares out from the knee downward, these jeans can be striking and statement, giving off quite a high fashion vibe. Not to mention they’re totally reminiscent of the carefree 70’s, a truly golden era of fashion!

For a look that is especially modern, style your flares with a colour block jumper, heeled boots and a pastel-hued underarm bag. Flared jeans also coordinate perfectly with a sleek turtle neck. Just layer with a structural trench and finish with your favourite ankle boots.

Puffer Jackets

And while we’re on the topic of striking silhouettes, let’s talk puffer jackets. The puffer jacket is a total essential for the new season thanks to its warmth, comfort and versatility. Embrace autumn cosiness with a punchy style, or opt for a sleek, thinner style of puffer jacket to garner the warmth sans the bulk.

The puffer can be styled sporty for an effortless street style vibe. Try wearing over a hoodie, finishing with leather-look leggings and chunky combat boots. Top with a belt bag for a killer finish! We also love styling our puffers over a casual knit top and jeans, or a cute cocktail dress on those chilly Saturday nights out.

Here are some styles we’re currently obsessing over:

Long Boots

Carrying over from last autumn, we just can’t seem to get enough of long boots — and it’s no secret why. Long boots offer a little extra warmth with their length, and can be styled either casual or dressy depending on the occasion. They also seem to elevate any outfit, again carrying that same high fashion vibe like a pair of stunning flares.

There are two infallible ways to style your long boots: 1) with a mini dress or skirt and stockings; or, 2) over a pair of skinny jeans, leggings or jeggings. This ensures the most flattering outcome for your outfit. There’s also the midi skirt and long boots trend, although many of us have a love-hate relationship with this one. Try choosing a midi skirt with a side split for a chic and flattering touch.

Sparkling Fabrications

Pull out all the lurex and glitter you can find ladies, sparkling fabrications are in, in, in! As the weather gets chillier and a little more drab, it’s always nice to find a way to keep your outfits playful and upbeat. A touch of decadent sparkle can do just that.

Choose a sparkling lurex cardigan to breathe life into your everyday rotation. It can be layered over a simple black jumper, jeans and long boots for a lavish finish. Perhaps a sparkling pair of trousers is more to your taste! Or even a dress with glistening metallic thread.

Autumnal Neutrals

Neutrals will never fail you when it comes to autumn styling! Tones to match the colours of the falling leaves, there's something so sleek and fashionable about an all-neutral look. We love mixing and matching chocolate brown hues with chic beige and elegant ivories.

Neutrals are favoured for a number of reasons. Firstly, they are sleek, offering a crisp and contained finish. Secondly, they offer endless styling options and this versatility makes them super easy to build on. Finally, they offer an air of understated elegance like no other, keeping you sophisticated and glamorous without appearing too loud or showy.
