First impressions in job interviews are key, so
don't let a fashion faux pas cost you your dream job.
Together with our charity partner, Smart Works and
size 16 Monica, we have put together a stylish guide
showcasing what to wear to an interview if you’re plus size.
This is a softer more modern take on the classic
“interview suit”. Try teaming our ultra-comfortable
black tube skirt, with our soft blazer style jacket to
look instantly put together. Add personality with
a polka dot blouse or a pretty floral print top,
to look equally good with or without the jacket.
In a sea of black clad interviewees, try standing out in navy.
Try wearing sleek, navy trousers, and match them with a
tonal blue blouse or tunic top instead. To really stand out
from the crowd, add a splash of colour with a contrasting bag.
1st impressions really do count, so don’t have
your shoes let you down. Never choose heels that
you have trouble walking in, instead try a stylish flat
shoe or a low heel such as our classic Court Shoes,
Patent Brogues and Pewter Fringed Loafers to help
you to stride into your interview with confidence.
