Keep It Sleek

You’ll be in good company wearing something gorgeous by this designer; Giles Deacon who has dressed Princess Beatrice, Scarlett Johansson and, on her wedding day, Abbey Clancy.

This modern metallic two-piece needs minimal accessories – the cut and fabric add up to understated glamour. As separates, they’ll add an on trend tone to your look – the top was selected by the Daily Mail’s fashion team as ideal to wear for a wedding.

Lulu Liu orange dress is bright and beautifully versatile. Liu works in luxury fabrics and chose silk for her Design Collective piece. She recommends styling it to suit your mood – roll up the sleeves and belt it, or leave it loose and laidback.

Lulu told #STYLEHASNOSIZE that the distinctive print – she hand paints her designs - was inspired by one of her dreams.

You have to feel this coat to fully appreciate how well it’s cut and understand why it’s a fashion magazine favourite. The soft draping detail makes it luxe and in pillar-box red it’s a head-turning cover-up.

This was chosen as a highlight of the Design Collective in USA Marie Claire and on the front of the Sunday Times magazine worn by superstar Ashley Graham.

Bright Ideas

Long term Evans collaborators Clements Ribeiro designed a selection of powerful prints for our first catwalk show . Model Katy Syme loved modelling it on the runway. “As plus-size models, it’s so refreshing and so exciting to wear high fashion and really beautifully tailored clothes that are innovative and well made,” she says.

Vita Gottlieb's own SS15 collection was inspired by futuristic coral reefs and the underwater world. “I’m bringing those elements into my Evans collaboration,“ she says. “So some of the fabrics I’m using are floaty and diaphanous but they can be layered up to create a full look.” This sheer dress is a delight to layer – you can show a hint of see-through or cover-up according to your own taste. In khaki green, it’s a girlie take on the military trend’s favourite shade, too..

One of summer’s sweetest dresses, with a soft print, drawstring waist and on-trend cut-out to add to its femininity. Designer Gottlieb studied fine art and worked in film and textile design before going into fashion, and she loves attention to detail. “It’s really exciting to be part of the Evans show,” she tells #stylehasnosize. “I’m interested in opening up fashion to women of all ages and sizes.”

Modern Metalic

Central Saint Martins graduate Jamie Wei Huang was picked out by the fashion teams at Cosmopolitan and Glamour as one of the most covetable of the collection. It features the young designer’s signature leather strap detail and clean tailoring, and even a fun hip pocket.

Wei Huang likes crisp, masculine cuts and adds some glamour with soft shades and rich fabric. This baby blue top has an iridescent sheen, which makes it look and feel fabulous. Teamed here with the chic and sharp kick-pleat skirt, this is an ideal way to add a touch of the metallic trend to your wardrobe.
