Delivering great service, great product and a great shopping experience to our customers, through our people, is the key to our success as an HR team.

As you can imagine, this is quite a challenge! The role of HR in Evans is to ensure that our people have the skills, knowledge and passion to be able to motivate, inspire and support their staff through great leadership therefore delivering a leading edge customer experience.

We have teams dedicated to Resourcing, Employee Relations, Reward and Learning and Development. We shape the business through our close working relationships with line managers focusing on resourcing, spotting talent, training and management of individuals. In addition, we also have a strong external focus to ensure that we're marketing Evans as an exciting, innovative and rewarding employer.

The team are structured so that there are two camps, one focusing on Head Office and one focusing on Retail. The Head Office team are based in Central London and the Retail team are based in the field.

The career prospects in HR are excellent, the experience you need depends on the role you're interested in. You're likely to need a degree and CIPD although experience of working in a large multi-disciplinary organisation (ideally fashion retail) can supersede these qualifications.
