Every decision taken in Evans has a financial implication, so the finance team play a key role monitoring how the profit projections for the brand might change in the light of these decisions.

They also support the brand through provision of timely reports and analysis that enable recipients to become quickly aware of risks and opportunities to our plans, therefore prompting corrective action to protect profit.

The department comprises of three elements:

• Retail Finance
• Buying & Merchandising Finance
• Central Costs Finance

Key Skills

The qualifications, experience and key skills required for a career in Finance will vary according to the level of the position though generally to work in this field you'll need to have a passion for working with numbers, an understanding of fashion retail and be able to thrive in a fast paced environment.
