Esther Tregidon – Buyers Admin Assistant

I joined Evans 18 months ago as a Buyers Admin Assistant (BAA) after completing a 6 month placement in the previous year. In my role I work closely with my Assistant Buyer to ensure the Buyer is happy. Also it’s vital for all teams to work in sync with their merchandise teams.

Since joining Evans I have worked on various different departments from casual tops to denim and casual bottoms. My product areas have all been fun, colourful but challenging at the same time. Each day is filled with different jobs from sessions with a fit model to test the fit of our new clothes to future planning meetings to story building. This is where we rack new ranges, called stories, to see if they gel as a whole, making sure individual pieces work together and to ensure we are not missing anything our customer is expecting. The BAA role is busy and sometimes stressful but very rewarding and always exciting.

On a daily basis Evans are thinking of how to improve the experience for our customer, what else she wants and how we can provide that. It’s the most important part of everyone's role to provide all Evans customers with good fitting clothing for everyday life at prices that are competitive.

I really enjoy my job and don't see myself anywhere else now; Evans is brand who pride themselves with being a close knit family and providing award winning fashion.
