Cede Fensome, Branch Manager
"I joined Evans in 2004 in our Luton branch as a 4 hour Saturday girl and progressed through the advanced and top level sales adviser roles.
I then joined the Stepping into Management course. Through this I learnt new ways of working and continued my development even further. Whilst on this course I became a Deputy Manager and also undertook a secondment as a branch manager.
I then applied for a permanent Deputy Manager position in Watford as it was a bigger store and I could see it would help me with my future development. During this time I also helped launch the Christmas package in a larger store.
I am now a Branch Manager and I also help run a cluster of stores. I was recently the Centre of Excellence store which meant I launched the new season's look for all the stores on my area.
Overall I have had a great range of development opportunities and worked with a variety of different people and I feel this has enabled me to successfully run my own store."
